September 16 - September 24

The Hispanic Heritage Fiesta will highlight Latin American cultures in all their rich variety and pay tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society—particularly the Tri-Cities area!

Parade of Flags

Saturday, September 24 @ 11:00am

The public is invited to meet at 10am between 1st Street and Washington Ave. to line up and walk alongside the official flag carrier of the Country of their choice. You may also bring your own flag if you wish.

This opening ceremony takes place with a parade from the Grand Haven Downtown Social District at Washington Avenue and First Avenue walking down Washington Avenue to Grand Haven Central Park with the Parade of Flags representing Hispanic / Latin American countries. We hope you will join us in kicking off the Fiesta events in Central Park 11:00am-10:30pm.

RESTAURANT WEEK

Monday-Saturday
September 19-24

Restaurants in the Tri-Cities will be participating in a special restaurant week from Monday, September 19 through Saturday, September 24.

You will sign up in advance for a Hispanic / Latin American country whose cuisine you want to showcase with a special appetizer, entrée, dessert and/or drink.

Each participating restaurant will donate a percentage of sales of these food items to Fiesta. The net proceeds of the Fiesta will then be divided between a local non-profit the newly formed Tri-Cities Puentes Initiative.
